Hi guys, this will be the first build I've ever published. I love making builds, I don't usually use other people's because I like to build around my play style and love to experiment. I won't go too in depth with this, the simpler the better in my opinion. The Fey is a support caster that excels in crowd control, this build will be focused on supporting your team mates and dealing moderate damage, you will have the ability to solo lane but I wouldn't recommend getting into fights without help. I have implemented a bit of defence into this build as I believe this works well. IMPORTANT - Just because you have defence does not make you a tank, do not try and tank in fights, the defence is purely so you can stay in team fights for as long as possible and not to absorb damage for your team, as a support you are a priority target so defence is necessary.
Abilities upgrade priority
R - Fly Trap (Upgrade when available)
RMB - Untamed Growth (for minion wave clearing)
Q - Bramble Patch (you can use this to deal extra damage to minions and keep them in Untamed Growth until it blows up, this should be primarily used to disrupt enemy movement in team fight or as an initiator)
E - Harvest Nettles (use this when available to poke the enemy, if the ability hits a hero then the mana cost will be refunded)
R → RMB → Q → E (team fights only)
The Fey is good at clearing waves so you shouldn't have much competition at the start of the game unless you're against a pusher such as Howtizer, Iggy or Gideon. Iggy is pretty easy to lane against, just wait for him to put his turret down and then put your Untamed Growth on top of it, this will then deal damage to enemy minions over time and also destroy the turret very quickly. Against other classes if I would suggest not actually fighting the minions, just get last hits on them if you aren't having difficulty maintaining your lane, this means you can farm safe closer to your tower and the enemy will have to wander further from theirs to get xp.
You can initiate fights with your Q ability to slow the enemy, use RMB in the enemies retreat direction so they will either have to go through it or around it. Use R if it will allow you to secure the kill.
Keep the enemy teams movement disrupted with Q in team fights, use R either to pull the enemy back if they are winning or towards your team if they are losing. Alternatively you can use this to split the enemy team and discourage a gank.
Any lane, solo or coop
Use Q to slow the enemy and RMB in the enemies retreat to allow your team mates as much time as you can give them to kill the enemy.
